Recently, SmartGen HAT 835 Three Power Bus Tie Controller was applied in an airport project.
Project Overview
There are two mains switches, one genset switch and one bus tie switch in the lighting substation system of this domestic airport project. SmartGen HAT 835 Three Power Bus Tie Controller was installed to control these four switches.
The system connects to three separate power supplies (two from mains and one from genset). And genset power supply will be the emergency one.
HAT835 controller can detect voltage (3-phase from 3-way) precisely. When over/under voltage, over/under frequency, loss of phase, reverse phase sequence and other abnormal conditions occur, it will make accurate judgment and output the corresponding passive digital signal. As for this project, it requires three power supplies to be switched quickly with safety and stability, and realizes the function of automatic transfer/non-automatic restore.
