“2018 Engine and ATS Control Tech Forum”was held at SmartGen in Zhengzhou from August 8-10. After the successful conclusion of the meeting, we went to the Shaolin Temple in Songshan with our customers to experience the profound culture of central plains.
The ancient temple was hidden in mountains, Shaolin Temple was surrounded by green streams. Shaolin Temple is known as “the most famous temple in the world”, it has more than 1500 years’ history. There is a common saying, “all Kungfu comes from Shaolin, Shaolin Kungfu is the best”. We watched the wonderful Kungfu performance and then visited important buildings of Shaolin Temple. The whole temple has an antique flavour, everything is full of history.
After leaving the temple, we visited the Pagoda forest which is not far away. The highest towers have seven-storey, which are called “a seven-storey high pagoda”. The adage “Saving a life is better than building up a seven-storey pagoda” originates from this.
At the end of summer and the beginning of autumn, the weather is changeable. We are caught in an unexpected rainstorm. Many customers feel that the Shaolin Temple is more holy and solemn in misty rain, especially when they look into the distance. They really enjoy themselves in the beautiful scene.
