Hardware Upgrade

1.Voltage transformer sampling for dual voltage detection
·The sampling accuracy is improved to level 0.5
·Insulation resistance is increased to 100MΩ

2.DPS power output

·The controller automatically judges and outputs AC220V power supply according to the state of the two power supplies, and provides operation power for the switch.
·DPS dual N-line output, convenient for user wiring.

3.Optimization and upgrading of terminal

·Sampling terminal + control terminal + feedback terminal are designed in one row, which is convenient for making wiring harness.
·The wiring from controller to switch is simple with three terminals.

Lean is an eternal topic and a magic weapon to continuously help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency. For SmartGen, lean is more of a culture.
Recently, the 9th SmartGen Lean Improvement Competition was grandly held in the Tianjian Lake factory, which is also the first lean competition after we moved to the new factory, and the quality and level of the participating projects have reached a new height.
There were a total of 12 projects in this competition, and the project leaders showed the project objectives, improvement process, project benefits, etc. through on-site explanations or reports, and the general manager personally led the heads of various departments to serve as judges. Through fierce competition, 3 excellent improvement projects stood out.

Product harness production optimization

The team leader of the project is Wu Yulin from the manufacturing center, who led the team to analyze the human-machine-material-method environment, determined the two key improvement directions of personnel coordination and operation mode optimization, and introduced equipment fixtures such as ultra-high-speed silent peeling and ending machine, wiring harness mounting plate, etc., which increased the production capacity of wiring harness by more than 20%.

Intelligent cloud platform revision and optimization

The project comes from the digitization department, Tan Yachao, the project leader, cooperated with the relevant colleagues of the testing department and the brand construction department, combined with internal and external feedback, understood the user’s needs, and upgraded the intelligent cloud platform through functional demonstration, logical design and interaction. After upgrading, it is more convenient for users to operate and manage, and the sense of experience and beauty is stronger. At the same time, the online enterprise private cloud mode can realize the minute-level opening of the enterprise private cloud. This mode takes the enterprise as the unit, manages the equipment and personnel of each organization under the enterprise separately, and reduces the cost of enterprise management and maintenance.

Standardization and informatization of repair process

The project is optimized by Chen Huihui from the marketing center in collaboration with the sales office and repair personnel from four aspects: improving the standardized documents of the repair process, sorting out the standard SOP, adding the integrated account and sharing the mobile terminal, and forming the training materials and assessment standards, which greatly improves the standardization and informatization of the repair work and effectively supports the quality of the repair work and customer satisfaction.

Application of trailer project in Malaysia

The project is located in Sarawak Energy, Malaysia, in which two trailers with 500kVA Scania DC13 type gensets are paralleled, and the units are equipped with parallel controller HGM9510 of SmartGen.

After debugging, the parallel operation of two trailers is very stable. The trailer parallel mode is often used in the rental market, and genset parallel controller HGM9510 of SmartGen is intelligent and flexible in debugging, which has won high praise from customers.
Application of parallel operation and remote monitoring of 8 units

8 silent units in a new energy power plant of Penang, Malaysia, with a power of 1250kVA has finished debugging. Each genset is equipped with a genset parallel controller HGM9510. The remote monitoring controller HMU15 is used for touch screen monitoring in a group of four units.

HMU15 is suitable for remote monitoring of multiple HGM9510. The alarm information of the unit will scroll above the touch screen to prompt the operator, and the parameters of the genset will be displayed in the middle of the screen; Fonts and interfaces can be designed according to customers’ needs. It can realize automatic start/stop, data measurement, alarm display and “three remote” functions of genset. The controller adopts large screen liquid crystal (LCD) HMI display, multi-level operation authority, touch screen operation, which is simple and reliable.

SmartGen also has remote monitoring controller HMU15N, which communicates with the genset controller through RS485 interface or Ethernet interface, and can read and display the real-time parameters, data curves, historical records and alarm information of the genset. Up to 10 genset controllers are supported to be connected at the same time.

On July.12th-13th, the ATSE genset transient process test was held in testing center of SmartGen, which was guided by the industry expert Mr. Qu Degang, followed by 7 enterprises including ABB, Schneider Electric, Midas Electric, Bevone, SIWO, HanKwang and SmartGen.

Mr. Qu and the delegation visited TianJian Lake Factory of SmartGen, gaining a deeper understanding of the SmartGen’s development history, product series, manufacturing center, product testing center, and lean management, and spoke highly of the great achievements during the development.

Before the test, working group had an in-depth discussion on the ATSE test program and test process in order to better improve the test efficiency and data accuracy. Mr. Qu and other experts took their efforts to constantly revise and improve the test process.

The hot summer cannot stop everyone’s the exploration and innovation of technology. After two day’s test, we obtained significant testing data and the ATSE transient process test was finished successfully.
